This Privacy Policy applies to all Chrome extensions released under the Tabletop Overlay Tools (TOT) series (“we,” “our,” “us”). These tools are designed to enhance in-person tabletop role-playing games by providing lightweight digital overlays and utilities.
Information Collection
No personal information is collected.
We do not collect, transmit, or share any personally identifiable information (PII).
The only data stored is limited to local extension settings (such as overlay position, size, opacity, progress values, or other tool-specific preferences).
Data Storage
All settings are stored locally on the user’s device using Chrome’s built-in
storage.localAPI.No data is transmitted to external servers, third parties, or us.
Data Use
Stored data is used only to remember user preferences between sessions and provide a consistent experience.
No analytics, tracking, or advertising networks are included.
Permissions
Each TOT extension may request certain Chrome permissions (such as Active Tab, Scripting, or Storage) to function. These permissions are used strictly to enable core functionality (e.g., overlaying visuals on a chosen tab, saving user settings).
We do not use permissions to access or collect browsing history, personal information, or unrelated site data.
Third-Party Services
TOT extensions do not use or integrate with any third-party services for analytics, ads, or data collection.
Children’s Privacy
Our extensions do not target children and do not knowingly collect data from anyone, including minors.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be reflected by revising the “Last Updated” date at the top of this document.
